To properly clean your latex you will need the following items. Mild Unscented soap, towels,a clean sink or bathtub and corn startch.
Start with a clean sink or bathtub. I prefer a tub due to the space. Make sure the water is a lukewarm temperature. Rinse your latex under the running water. Next, take your soap and spread lightly over the major areas, both inside and outside. Be sure to avoid getting soap directly onto the seams. Less is more. After lightly lathering the latex, use your fingers to spread the lather to cover all areas. Lightly run your fingers over the edges and seams of the latex. Do not rub the lather into the seams. Rinse latex thoroughly. Be sure not to leave behind any soap residue, particularly in the seams. Hold your garment under the faucet for several seconds. After thorough rinsing is complete, lay your latex out on some clean towels. You can either let the latex air dry, or you can towel dry.
Once your latex is dry, sprinkle corn starch all over the garment. Gently spread the starch all over the latex inside and outside of the garment. The starch makes the latex completely dry and ready for safe storage. Corn starch is recommended as it is finer than baby powder and talc and has no health risks. It is recommended that latex avoid contact with all lotions, deodorants,or perfumes.
